We were challenged to define and explore an attractive visual identity based on the name botica. But what is an apothecary? Among the many meanings, an apothecary was a typically Portuguese store where many different products were sold. Based on this idea, we created what will be the brand image and a website for this Swedish bar and restaurant inspired by Portuguese gastronomy.

A project with a cultural identity

The shades of blue, gold and brown mark Botica's visual identity, reflecting its cultural diversity and giving it personality. 

The idea of multiculturalism is also present in the illustrative elements, done by João Fonseca, and on the menu, which serve as an accompaniment to this restaurant's secret ingredient: sharing conversations, memories and Portuguese snacks at the table.

Mouth-watering visual consistency

Inspired by the richness and ingredients of Portuguese cuisine, we developed a website with a unique visual design that connects Lusophone flavors and recipes to the gastronomic heart of Stockholm. 

With the aim of presenting a seasonal culinary heritage and high-quality products, we complemented the digital space with attractive images that did justice to Portuguese snacks and unique dishes that combine Iberian ingredients and Swedish products.

Responsive navigation for a recipe for success

The navigation of the website was designed so that the user could intuitively and quickly respond to their desire: to book a table.
